Chairperson: Marco Düring, Munich, Germany Aging populations around the globe represent major challenges for society and healthcare systems. Brain health plays a major role in maintaining wellbeing as we age. This teaching course covers recent advancements in multiple areas of brain aging. Topics include psychological aspects, the measurement of brain aging using neuroimaging techniques as well as genetic and cellular aspects that facilitate our understanding of brain aging and might provide targets for future interventions. |
