Chairperson: Angelo Antonini, Padua, Italy This course focuses on invasive treatments for Parkinson’s disease including levodopa and apomorphine pump infusions and deep brain stimulation. The first lecture will provide participants with an overview of treatments for PD and the second lecture will focus on selecting patients for invasive therapies. Finally, the last two lectures will focus on the results of infusion clinical trials and DBS therapies specifically and present technique specific complexity in management and adverse events. |
